11th Annual John Loder Silver Bullet Bomb Run!

Loder Style™

The 11th Annual John Loder Silver Bullet Bomb Run is scheduled for January 14-21 2024 at Mammoth Mountain!

We have a cool new logo for this year’s trip which really makes all the difference. Now all we need is some snow.

A Brewery is Born

The newly formed and nearly defunct Bomb Run Brewing Company has conveniently brewed two batches of the sweetest nectar known to man, exclusively for the Second Annual John Loder Silver Bullet Bomb Run.

Based on our consumer demand analysis and customer segmentation studies we have determined that this beer won't last long, so get to Mammoth early and get it while the gettin's good.

Batch #1

Type: Hefeweizen

Cap Color: Black (silver was taken, see batch #2 below)

Description:  A medium-bodied, effervescent ale practically exploding with yeast and wheat malt character – kind of like a liquid multigrain bread. Cloudy, malty, and spicy, with a smooth mouthfeel and dense, whipped-cream head. Serve in a tall glass “mit hefe” - swirl the bottle to make sure you get all the yeast! Poured into a traditional Weizen glass, the Hefeweizen can be one sexy looking beer.

Batch #2:

Type: Pale Ale

Cap Color: Silver (black was taken, see batch #1 above)

Description: Spicy, herbal, and English biscuits. Flashes of clean citrus and chewy minerals blend into a complex finish that is refreshingly bitter and remarkably dry. The way a pint was meant to taste. Truly spot on!

But Where Should I Put My Bomb Run Brew?

A beer without a coaster is like corn flakes without the milk. That's right, attendees will also receive a custom Bomb Run Brew coaster to accompany their brew (...or brews...). Not only can you sit your Bomb Run Brew on the coaster while you are in Mammoth, you can take it with you and use it in your own home. Maybe even punch a hole in the top of it and hang it on the tree next year. The possibilities are endless.
